Boynton Middle School is the only middle school in the Mascenic Regional School District, serving approximately 260 students in grades 5–8 in New Ipswich, New Hampshire. Boynton’s academic results are below New Hampshire averages overall. In 2025–26, 45% of students were proficient in reading, compared with 55% statewide; 27% were proficient in mathematics, compared with 44% statewide; and 28% were proficient in science, compared with 38% statewide. Reading is the school’s strongest subject, while mathematics is the greatest overall concern. Results vary widely by grade.
