Weddington High is a large, traditional public high school in Matthews, North Carolina, serving 1,899 students in grades 9–12 within Union County Public Schools. The school ranks 76th out of 662 North Carolina high schools (89th percentile) with a 4-star rating, and it posts End-of-Course proficiency rates dramatically above both its district and state averages.
