As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Unless you are ready to home school your child, you don't want them to attend this school. Teachers send stacks of homework home that overwhelms children and parents, especially when they are in the first and second grade years. We tried for 2 years with Bethel Hill but that school failed us. Her first grade teacher was pathetic. We later found out that she had been a 3rd grade teacher at Bethel Hill but had been counseled and demoted to a first grade teacher as a result of poor performance. Very disappointed. We would drive our daughter 30 minutes, one way, each day, and for what? As a result of poor practices at that school our child had to have a tutor throughout the summer and during the second grade school year. And guess who flipped the bill??? We did ! When her tutor tried to reach out to the school no one would ever call her back. That's not right. The "learning environment" at Bethel Hill only created anxiety in my child. From timed reading (which is not recommended by educators) to stacks of homework that were grade levels above which they should be and would take sometimes until 930pm to complete. No one at Bethel Hill would ever take responsibility for the lackluster performances of their staff. Just empty ended excuses. I'm not the only parent that feels the way I do. I withdrew my child from Bethel Hill and now she is in public school. Best decision we have made. And I'm finding out there have been many parents that have done the same. The principle never called me back after requesting her to do so so that I could at least voice my concerns in an attempt to keep what happened to our daughter from happening to other students. I guess Ms. Poole had better things to do than to listen to constructive criticism about her school or to inquire why we had decided to transfer our daughter.
Oh, and to just give you an example of some of our second grade daughters homework here's one. See if you can answer it yourself:

If the Duryea brothers raced 54 miles in 10 hours and 23 minutes, what was their average speed in miles per hour ? Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
