It clearly outperforms the nearby Columbus Municipal School District schools, but trails its same-district peer Caledonia Elementary by a wide margin.

New Hope's 5th grade ELA proficiency reached 62.0% in 2025-2026, above the state average of 55.8%, and 3rd grade ELA has also topped the state mark in recent years.
