Pontotoc City School District serves approximately 2,400 students across five schools in Pontotoc, Mississippi, spanning grades PK through 12 with a unique grade-band structure: Pontotoc Elementary School covers PK–2, DT Cox Elementary School covers 3–4, Pontotoc Middle School covers 5–6, Pontotoc Junior High School covers 7–8, and Pontotoc High School covers 9–12.
