The Greenwood-Leflore Consolidated School District serves about 3,718 students across 12 schools in the Mississippi Delta, including seven elementary schools, two stand-alone middle schools, and three high schools, with one school spanning grades 7–12. The district ranks in the bottom 10% of Mississippi districts, with every school carrying a 0 or 1 star rating and near-universal poverty, as 10 of 12 schools report 100% free/reduced-price lunch eligibility.
