As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I have to disagree with the last reviewer. My children have attended Heritage for the past 4 years, and we too moved to Wentzville because of the schools. I must say, I have been nothing but pleased. The teachers are all loving and caring, and have gone out of their way many times for my children. There has been a change in leadership at the school since the date of the last review, so maybe it was an ineffective administration at the time. My kids love to get up and go to school everyday. That's the best vote of confidence a parent could have. Close Quote

Open Quote My child has attended for 3 years now. We moved to the area because Wentzville has the best schools. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. They cheat to get the children to pass. My child loves to learn, but they refuse to teach him. He missed three days of school because he was running a fever, and didn't bring home any homework. Why? Because, they don't do anything. I've called the counselor on several occasions and she never returns my calls. The school is failing miserably. The state threatened to take over. They were given money from the state and had to give it to another school to prevent the take over. OUTRAGEOUS! Just because a couple big shots don't want to be embarrassed about how pathetic they run the place? In the meantime, we have uneducated children. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
