Creekmoor Elementary consistently ranks among the top 25% of Missouri elementary schools, with strong academic performance on state assessments. Students at the school score significantly higher than the state and district averages in mathematics, science, and English language arts across multiple grade levels. For example, in 2024-2025, 5th-grade students at Creekmoor Elementary scored 61.2% proficient or better in science, compared to 52.1% for the Raymore-Peculiar R-II district and 42.2% for the state of Missouri. The school also maintains a favorable student-teacher ratio, which may contribute to its academic success.

While Creekmoor Elementary's overall performance is strong, the school could focus on addressing the achievement gap for its students of low socioeconomic status, who perform at a lower level compared to their peers. Additionally, the school has experienced a slight increase in chronic absenteeism rates over the past few years, an area for potential improvement. Nonetheless, Creekmoor Elementary outperforms the other Raymore-Peculiar R-II elementary schools and nearby schools in the Belton 124 and Grandview C-4 districts in academic achievement.

Open Quote Special needs students beware! We began the school year believing that the school provided a great environment for education. After discovering our child had special needs this view was altered dramatically. The school and district administration failed at every turn to provide adequate services. The volume of lies and dismissive attitude we were given is simply astounding. Close Quote
