As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Even though I grew up and graduated from Greenfield, I have nothing good to say about the district. Teachers play favorites way too much, dont have any authority, or at least are afraid to show any authority. Kids get away with being bullies, and then the picked on kid gets in trouble if they try to stand up for themselves. Staff looks down on you and talk to you like you are beneath them unless you are one of the "important, upstanding" families from the area. Every year, the MAP scores tell you how they are doing at teaching compared to the rest of the schools in Missouri, and those scores are pathetic. The scores dont lie. You can say all day, every day, until you are blue in the face how good greenfield school is, but I am telling you, they are setting the kids up for failure for once they get into college. Like I said, just look at their years MAP scores and percentages.

Moving away and getting my son out of that school was the best thing that we could have ever done for him. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
