As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The building itself is very nice and modern. The grounds are sub par. The parking lot is the worst. The have half as many spots as they could have by having these native grasses plated between each row which curves instead of being straight. The grass grows to 3-4 feet tall so guess what.....it makes it hard to see the little kid running in the parking lot. Any function they have, people are parking way out on the road. It makes it so I dread going there to watch my kid's performance.

The administration is very much a 'who you know' thing and locals get the nod. The school had their principal removed several years ago for inappropriate behavior and then they promote a teacher to become the 'dean of students'. Probably not coincidentally the test scores and school rank declined steadily under her leadership.

In an effort to be cutting edge, they implemented I-pads and let the kids take them home. This did wonders for limiting the children's social and communication skills. It also retarded development in writing skills and math since they no longer are given assignments on paper. Oooohhhhhh.....a cost saving measure perhaps? The middle school then has to pick up the slack and do so by piling on the homework but..naturally..they still have the I-pads. It could be so much more than it is sadly. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
