That is the school's highest standing in at least a decade, up from the 67th percentile in 2022-23. Reading proficiency has climbed to 62.1% and math to 53.5%, both above district and state averages. Science, tested only in 8th grade, is 28.4%, also above district and state on a like-for-like basis.

Two areas are worth watching. Seventh-grade reading is 53.4%, essentially level with the district and 13 points below the school's own 6th- and 8th-grade results. The student-teacher ratio has risen for three straight years to 17.5, though proficiency has risen alongside it so far. On the positive side, English learners have improved dramatically—from the 10th percentile two years ago to the 76th—and students from low-income families have moved from the 39th to the 74th percentile. Overall, Falcon Ridge is a school in genuine ascent, converting its student population into strong outcomes more efficiently than most nearby peers.

Teachers do not form relationships. Some of the worst teachers I've ever been around and I've been in education over 20 years.
There was no curriculum for sixth grade and admin even admitted this.
Administrators not willing to work with you, extremely defensive.

As a parent of an 8th grader here, we have found the education outstanding. The teachers were very good, personable and well prepared. Our child had multiple opportunities to be involved in music groups during her activity periods which allowed her to take other options (foreign language) as an elective. Band program is outstanding! Have known families with children who had special needs and they found FRMS to be very supportive. Close Quote
