Lake Nokomis Keewaydin Elementary is a public school at 5209 30th Avenue South in south Minneapolis, serving 349 students in grades 2–5 as part of the Minneapolis Public School District, in a neighborhood that is home to several other district and charter elementary schools within a couple of miles.

Keewaydin is a solidly above-average school that outperforms both its district and the state in all three tested subjects. Two same-district neighbors post higher outcomes — Northrop Elementary (67.0% math, 71.6% reading) and Howe Elementary (68.7% math) — and Howe serves a comparable share of low-income students (30.4% vs. Keewaydin's 33.5%), making it the most useful benchmark. By contrast, nearby charter options such as Hiawatha Leadership Acdy–Northrop and Friendship Academy of the Arts score 40+ points lower in math and reading.
