The school’s long-term trend is a substantial decline: it was in the 82nd–83rd percentile with 4 stars in 2015–16 through 2017–18, but recent years have been 45th percentile (2023–24), 43rd (2024–25), and 40th (2025–26). Science fell from 74.42% in 2022–23 to 48.94%, 31.82%, and 21.7%; math slipped just below state in 2025–26 after being above it previously; reading has been consistently below state.

Maple Lake Elementary also outperforms the school in all three subjects, and Richmond Elementary, John Clark Elementary, and Annandale Elementary School post higher math and reading results.
