The student-teacher ratio improved to 9.9 from 13.0, similar to nearby Big Stone Colony Elementary (9.6) and Lismore Colony Elementary (9.7). Those two Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley schools are much smaller (19 and 24 students) and serve K–8, but posted higher 2025-2026 all-grade proficiency—72.7% math and 90.9% reading, and 50% in both subjects, respectively—despite higher free/reduced-lunch rates. Their tiny enrollments and suppressed grade-level data make this comparison suggestive rather than definitive.
