Elementary Schools in the Rocori Public School District serve roughly 920 students across three buildings in central Minnesota: Cold Spring Elementary (PK–5), Richmond Elementary (K–5), and John Clark Elementary (K–5). Cold Spring is by far the largest with 656 students — 71.3% of all elementary enrollment — while Richmond (135) and John Clark (129) are nearly identical in size, about 22–23 students per grade. Two things are worth knowing as a parent. First, science at these schools reflects only the 5th grade — roughly 20–25 students per school — so a handful of students can swing the percentage dramatically; treat those figures as directional. Second, poverty and class size don't neatly predict results here: Richmond and John Clark have nearly identical poverty rates, yet John Clark outperforms in math and science while Richmond leads in reading. Overall, math is the district's strength, and reading and science are where the work lies.
