As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I absolutely adore this school. My daughter was enrolled in the Judy Center PreK program and she over excelled in with her teacher. She moved on to kindergarten. I had the opportunity to get to know her teacher early on in the year when I had questions about the integration process of special education students with my daughter in her classroom.

While integration is a great and necessary tool for all children to succeed, I was nervous with the ratio of special education students to those with no need for the extra boost. She took no time at all to quell any fears I had regarding this issue. She made sure to let me know that my daughter would not be on the wayside because of individual treatment of those who needed it, but also invited me to the classroom so that I could see the routine for the day.

I was impressed by her openness and approachability to this concern. She has always given a positive relationship with my family and fostered a strong school-to-home connection through emails and constant contact. Also, the enjoyment of keeping parents in the loop of what is going on inside the classroom is an added bonus to the kindergarten experience. I have always found her helpful, prompt and supportive of her students and parents.

There is nothing that holds back the education bar for her students in the classroom. In my viewing, she does not settle for mediocrity; on the contrary, she has high expectations of her students. Whether her students are in need of an extra enhancement or just a particular push in another direction, each child is held to the same values and accountability; without anxiety to their mental or physical capabilities. I have found her to be a kind, creative and a sincere educator. She shows the compassion and gentleness to the students as well as the parents in communication and actions. The way she handles her classroom with so many personalities and matters seems to come at ease. The climate of the classroom is always warm and inviting, but ready to have you reach for the stars.

My daughter has blossomed in her short period of time in kindergarten. She loves the rotation of activities that happen surrounding certain projects. Such as when the fall season arrived, the children got the chance to use all of their senses while engaging in learning of what a pumpkin is. Through a rotation of activities in the classroom, she got them excited to feel the pumpkin and make assessments of what could be lurking inside, to creating a pumpkin drawing of their own; to letting their imaginations bloom with color. She also helped to keep the lessons exciting; to the point I wanted to go home and carve a pumpkin and explore the inside workings myself. My daughter loves to go to school each day and comes home to tell me of the wonderful journey she has experienced.

The daily interaction, along with the course of paying attention and responding with the best instruction possible for her students, is what makes her and the school a spectacular place. She is a true blessing to Green Holly and to my daughter’s school experience. am proud to have her as my daughters kindergarten teacher and confident in the ways that she and the school educates her in the classroom. Without hesitation, I fully commend this school. Close Quote

Open Quote I am seeing first hand how this school just passes kids along to avoid failing them. My step son can barely read, write or do complicated math and he got great grades on his recent report card. This child is so far behind it is sad. He can't spell many words over 3 letters. The teacher states he doesn't feel they need to focus on spelling. WHAT? Is he serious? This child has to count on his fingers to do multiplication. His reading is on the level of a 2nd grader and he got mostly A's and B's on his report card. My husband has had multiple meetings with teachers, principal, guidance etc. They just blow off his concerns and say he is getting extra help etc. Really? He rarely has homework. He is required to read 25 minutes each night and has had maybe a handful of math worksheets the whole school year. He has not once had homework in social studies/science/grammar. He has never ever written cursive and his printing is horrible. Yet he got A's in all but one subject. His dad has requested more homework or just ideas from the teacher to help at home and they tell him not to push him. Close Quote

Open Quote I love this school! They have gone above my expectations to help my 6 year old son who has special needs. They also have programs for my daughter who is above average in her studies that help her not get bored. The teacher to student ratio is also great! I just wish we could stay at this school longer but my husband has to transfer with the Navy next year. I would definitely recommend this school! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
