The 2025–2026 school year was a breakout one. The school ranked 218th of 478 middle schools statewide (54th percentile, 3 stars), up sharply from 314th of 484 (35th percentile, 2 stars) the year before — its best showing since 2017–2018. Proficiency rose across every subject: ELA 39.2% (just under the state's 40.03% but above the district's 36.01%), math 36.76%, science 33.58%, and 8th grade civics 34.33%. Gains over the prior year were large — about 6 points in ELA, 11 in math, 13 in science, and 14 in civics. There's a clear grade-level split: 6th grade math (47.1%) and ELA (41.73%) beat state averages, while 7th and 8th grade math (32.86% and 30.22%) trail the state's 37.48% and 41.67%.
