Summary

Hudson High is a public high school located in Hudson, Massachusetts, serving grades 8-12 with a total enrollment of 809 students. The school is part of the Hudson District, which is ranked 200 out of 348 districts in Massachusetts and is rated 2 stars out of 5 by SchoolDigger.

Academically, Hudson High's performance, as measured by MCAS Next Generation test scores, is generally below the state average across various subjects and grade levels. However, the school's performance is stronger in certain subgroups, such as Hispanic students outperforming the state average in English Language Arts. The school's four-year graduation rate has been relatively stable, ranging from 86.8% to 89.0%, which is slightly lower than the state average, and its dropout rate has been higher than the state average.

Compared to nearby high-performing schools like Bromfield, Westborough High, and Algonquin Regional High, Hudson High has consistently underperformed in academic measures, graduation rates, and overall school rankings. These disparities suggest that socioeconomic factors may play a significant role in the school's performance, and the school may benefit from a comprehensive review of its educational programs and support services to address the unique needs of its diverse student population.

Open Quote I went to Hudson High School for five years, graduated in 2010, and had friends and family who when to different High Schools... Hudson has better facilities, more class selection, better teachers, more sports to choose from, a great drama program, and is very good with student with learning disabilities or any kind of special needs. My brother is still in the school right now... The current principal, Brian Reagan, is horrible and is ruining the school I loved. There is almost no tolerance anymore. I am glad I graduated when I did. Personally if he continues to go this way, Hudson High will no longer be the great school it was. Close Quote
