George Keverian School is a K–8 school in Everett, MA, with 873 students, part of the Everett district, which ranks 319th of 351 districts in Massachusetts. Statewide, Keverian ranked 743rd of 899 schools in 2025–2026, placing it in the 17th percentile with 1 star. This is a slight improvement from 2024–25 (16th percentile), but the school has declined long-term: it was around the 27th–39th percentile in 2015–16 through 2018–19, and since 2020–21 has mostly hovered in the 15th–20th percentile.

All-grade MCAS results show Keverian close to the Everett district average in ELA and math but about 19 points below the state average in all subjects. Science is a bright spot: proficiency rose from 11.73% in 2023–24 to 21.79% in 2025–26, above the district average and second among same-district K–8 peers behind Webster School. Math is the clearest weakness, ranking 5th of 6 among those peers, with middle grades especially low (6th grade math 13.76%, 7th grade 14.74%). Grade 8 outperforms the district in ELA, math, science, and civics, but grades 5–7 are weaker. Compared to nearby schools, Keverian outperforms Parlin School in all three subjects, is roughly comparable to Madeline English School in science, but trails Sumner G. Whittier School, Lafayette School, Ferryway, William A Berkowitz Elementary, and Edgar F. Hooks Elementary in several areas.

English Language Learner students are a relative strength, ranking in the 69th percentile statewide in 2025–26 (and 70th–82nd in prior years), far above the school’s overall 17th percentile. The school has a student–teacher ratio of 12.0 and spent $15,187 per student in 2020–21, which is higher than some nearby schools but lower than Webster School ($18,614). Free/reduced lunch data is not reported. Overall, Keverian is a large Everett school with low statewide performance and a declining rank, but it shows improvement in science, a strong 8th grade, and notable effectiveness with English learners.
