Madeleine Dugger Andrews is the strongest middle school at 150 of 478 (69th percentile, 3 stars), climbing from 59th to 69th percentile, with science 14.1 points above the state. Missituk Elementary School is the biggest improver, rising from 47th to 66th percentile and from 2 to 3 stars. Milton Fuller Roberts sits mid-pack at 45th percentile.

At the other end, John J McGlynn Elementary School ranks 687 of 899 (24th percentile, 1 star), with ELA of 23.24 and science of 18.68, far below state averages. John J. McGlynn Middle School trails Madeleine Dugger Andrews in every subject. Medford High is mixed: its 93.7 graduation rate and 4.5 dropout rate beat the district, and Biology proficiency (45.36) beats the state, but 10th-grade ELA, math, and science are below state.
