Gloucester, Massachusetts has four elementary schools — East Veterans Elementary School, West Parish, Beeman Memorial, and Plum Cove School — all serving grades K–5 and all part of the Gloucester district. Together they enroll 1,342 students, ranging from 217 at Plum Cove to 451 at East Veterans. Students take the MCAS Next Generation tests in ELA, math, and science, with science tested in 5th grade.
