Summary:

Attleboro has 11 schools serving about 5,995 students: five elementary schools (grades K–4), three middle schools (grades 5–8), and three high schools, with most high-schoolers enrolled at Attleboro High. The Attleboro district as a whole ranks #214 of 351 in Massachusetts, at the 39th percentile with 2 stars, but that single number hides big differences between individual schools.

The bright spots are clear. Hyman Fine Elementary School has the strongest elementary results, with ELA at 46.15% and math at 44.10% — both above district and state averages — and its rank climbed from the 42nd to the 56th percentile. Wamsutta Middle School is the top-ranked middle school at the 59th percentile with 3 stars, strong in math, science, and 8th-grade civics, though its ELA is weaker. Robert J. Coelho Middle School stands out in science, including 55.46% in 5th-grade science, and Attleboro High posts a 94.5% graduation rate.

The challenges are equally clear. Thomas Willett Elementary School has the lowest elementary ELA (34.90%) and math (32.89%), Cyril K. Brennan Middle School trails in middle-school math, science, and civics, and Attleboro High lags in science and physics. Attleboro Virtual Academy faces the toughest completion picture, with a 73.7% graduation rate and 15.8% dropout rate, while Attleboro Community Academy also trails the district.
