Lafayette High stands out as a high-performing neighborhood school that consistently outperforms most of its immediate peers. It has earned a 4-star rating from SchoolDigger for the past decade and ranks in the top 25% of Louisiana high schools. In core academic subjects, the school significantly outperforms both district and state averages on every End-of-Course exam, with Geometry being a particular strength (77% proficiency vs. 57% statewide).
