Both of my Granddaughters went to Covington Community Montessori. We were all excited for the opportunity to see the girls succeed both academically as well as socially. The educational part was fair while the social aspect was awful. We had to pull one of the girls out due to relentless bullying. My youngest Granddaughter is neurodivergent and that was not handled properly by the faculty at all. I cannot find the words to explain how awful the bullying was. My 8th grade Granddaughter did make friends but her bullying came from the faculty. This year there were 3 graduates in the 8th grade, she has been there for 3 years and the teacher (who pronounced her name correctly for 3 years )mispronounced her name during graduation to get in that final dig. The school is NOT diverse as they claim. There are safety issues that are not addressed as well. We did not expect the girls to be treated any differently from the other students but we did expect for them to be treated equally, that certainly didn't happen. Close Quote
