Emmalena Elementary School serves pre-K through eighth grade and enrolls 204 students in the community of Emmalena in Knott County, Kentucky. Its test results vary by grade and subject, but the clearest concern is that current mathematics and reading results are generally below state, district, and nearby-school results.

The school’s relative strengths are social studies and eighth-grade writing.
