Summary

Located in Irvine, Kentucky, Estill County High School serves grades 9–12 and enrolls 643 students. Its strongest headline is graduation: in 2025–2026, 99% of students graduated, compared with 96% in Estill County and 94% statewide. But chronic absenteeism is a serious counterpoint: 36% of students were chronically absent, 12 points above the state and 8 above the district. The high graduation rate is encouraging, but the elevated absenteeism is the most important concern for families to weigh alongside it.
