The data also shows that the magnet schools in the Wichita district tend to outperform the traditional public schools like Adams Elementary, suggesting that the magnet school model may be more effective in improving academic outcomes for students in the district.

Open Quote I want to clarify something first, I am in no way racist. However, this school has posters all over the place of African Americans people in history such as MLK and others. There are other children in this school that are not African American. School officials should make them feel wanted too. As a Grandparent of a student I walked up and down several halls and looked into classrooms during my visit. There were pictures of Obama but let see isn't Trump our current President. Didn't see his pic anywhere. Music programs are full of religious African music.....again what about the other kids??? Way to go Adams Elementary way to alienate kids. Staff is less educated then the cook at McDonalds. I wouldn't want any kid to have to go to this school in fact I wouldn't send my dog to this school. Get with the program and include ALL your students no matter what color. Close Quote
