Galena High is a public high school serving 236 students in grades 9–12 in Galena, in southeast Kansas; SchoolDigger ranks the Galena district 186th of 268. The central concern is that Galena’s 2025–26 results were below the state in English language arts (ELA), math, and science, with ELA its clearest weakness compared with nearby schools.
