Summary:
Pleasant Ridge Elementary (PK–5), Pleasant Ridge Middle (6–8) and Pleasant Ridge High (9–12) are the three schools serving Easton, with 685 students combined. The latest reported all-grades results show a wide range between schools, especially in ELA and science; because the schools serve different grades, those all-grades figures are not same-grade comparisons. The clearest takeaway is that Elementary leads across subjects, while High’s main academic concern is ELA: its result is 8 points below the state, even as its math and science are above.
Pleasant Ridge Elementary is the academic standout, with 2025–26 all-grades proficiency of 60% in ELA, 59% in math and 65% in science—about 16, 9 and 19 points ahead, respectively, of the other two schools’ average in each subject. Pleasant Ridge High has the lowest ELA result at 38%, 17 points below the other schools’ average; its math is 51% and science 44%, both above the state. Pleasant Ridge Middle has the lowest math and science results, at 49% and 48%, but both are above the state by 8 and 9 points.
Recent score changes are mixed: Elementary’s ELA rose 1 point while math fell 4 and science fell 8; Middle gained 3 points each in ELA and math while science fell 5; High’s ELA fell 3 and math rose 1. SchoolDigger’s rankings give a different perspective: Middle improved from the 63rd to the 78th percentile over three years, Elementary went from the 74th to 78th after reaching the 82nd, and High moved from the 86th to 78th. The group’s advantage over state averages also narrowed from 4 to 3 points in ELA and from 14 to 12 in math. Context measures do not neatly track results: High has the lowest student-teacher ratio, 10.6, but the lowest ELA score; Elementary has the highest free/reduced-lunch rate, 30%, and the strongest scores. High’s 96% graduation rate is another positive, compared with 90% statewide.
