Le Roy has two listed schools serving grades 6–12: Southern Coffey County Middle School (grades 6–8, 50 students) and Southern Coffey County High School (grades 9–12, 37 students), both in the LeRoy-Gridley district. Only the middle school has supplied proficiency results, so achievement comparisons are available for that school alone. In 2025–26, its results were below Kansas in all three subjects: 21% in English Language Arts (ELA), 34% in math and 23% in science, compared with state rates of 46%, 41% and 38%. The clearest concern is ELA, with a 25-point state gap; math had the smallest gap, at 7 points.
