Herington has three public schools serving prekindergarten through grade 12: Herington Elementary, Herington Middle School, and Herington High, with enrollments ranging from 87 to 186 students. Their results differ substantially by school and subject. The clearest overall strength is Elementary, especially in science; Middle and High are below state benchmarks in all three supplied All Grades subjects.
