Gypsum has two schools in Southeast Of Saline: Southeast Saline Elementary serves prekindergarten through grade 6 and enrolls 375 students, while Southeast Saline High serves grades 7–12 and enrolls 323. In 2025–26, both schools’ all-grades mathematics and science proficiency exceeded state results, while high school ELA was slightly below the state. The most important shared strength is science: even after a sharp decline, the two-school average remained 11 percentage points above the state.
