Pike High School is a large public high school in Indianapolis, Indiana, serving about 3,188 students in grades 9–12 as part of MSD Pike Township. Its 2025–2026 rank is 310 of 415 schools (25th percentile, 1 star), down from the mid-30th percentiles in the mid-2010s. Graduation is a relative strength at 90.8% in 2024–2025, above Indiana’s 89.7% and equal to the district’s 90.8%. But chronic absenteeism is 29.0%, well above the district’s 19.5% and the state’s 16.7%, and test proficiency is low: SAT ERW 33.78%, SAT Math 12.92%, and Biology 31.37% in 2025–2026.

Compared with its closest large peer, Ben Davis High School, the school has a higher rank percentile (25 vs. 20), higher graduation (90.8% vs. 89.8%), lower chronic absenteeism (29.0% vs. 37.5%), and higher SAT ERW, SAT Math, and Biology proficiency. Still, it trails Herron-Riverside High School, Purdue Polytechnic High School North, Speedway Senior High School, and Zionsville Community High School in rank. this is not really a good school because of the drugs involved smoking and vaping in the restrooms the kids constantly using profanity and I think that Principal Inman should move on from the school Pike has changed alot since then even when my Brother went there and graduated in 2010 with good grades and honors. I Don't Recommend Pike at all. It's Nothing filled with problem hoodlum kids. Close Quote
