Open Quote My child is having a difficult and miserable experience there. My child’s teacher promotes a bullying behavior within the classroom as they are setting the tone. My child has been insulted and made fun of by his teacher multiple times in front of other students. I cannot recommend this school. The leadership is not on par with other schools that my child has previously attended. They make no effort to teach the children manners in a proper tone, rather just call them names such as immature, ridiculous, or silly. In general, my child’s teacher is loud, rude, over the top, and self involved.

When questions have been presented to the school regarding paperwork that has been sent home for parents regarding extra curricular activity or even daily scheduled events, no one in the office nor even my child’s teacher is aware of the scheduled events.

The school chose to not follow through on the calendar scheduled ‘learn to be kind to fellow students/anti bullying’ assembly, which they could REALLY use, considering the way the students speak to each other. My child’s teacher wasn’t even aware of it on the school monthly calendar when my child asked about it on the day it was scheduled to happen and responded that they had no idea what he was even talking about. Pretty sad...

The teaching style is very loose, perhaps non existent being a more accurate depiction, as my child is taught on a self learning assignment based method.

Worst school I’ve ever had encountered, personally. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
