Connersville Senior High School is the only comprehensive high school serving the Fayette County School Corporation in Connersville, Indiana — an eastern Indiana community roughly halfway between Indianapolis and Cincinnati — and enrolls 912 students in grades 9–12. It currently ranks 267th of 415 Indiana high schools (2 stars, 36th percentile), a clear slide from the 60th–62nd percentile it held about a decade ago. Roughly 59.4% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, the highest rate among nearby traditional high schools.

I have friends that have students in this high school, and I attended this high school. I am so thankful that my children do not attend this school as the students are out of control. The drugs and misconduct that I witnessed made for a bad environment then, and is ten times worse now. I feel sorry for any parent trying to raise a child in this school system. I think those in charge should take the time to speak to the teachers of all grades to see how they can better the system. Disapline starts way before the children get to the high school level of education, and really should start in early childhood education. Close Quote
