Eastern High School is a 9–12 public high school serving 497 students in Greentown, Indiana, a small Howard County community, as part of the Eastern Howard School Corporation. It ranks 96th of 415 Indiana high schools in 2025–2026 (77th percentile, 4 stars), placing it in the top quarter of the state and second locally behind only Northwestern Senior High School (87th percentile). Eastern peaked at the 94th–95th percentile with 5 stars in 2017–2018 and 2020–2021, dipped to the 71st percentile in 2024–2025, and recovered this year.

Two things stand out for families. First, graduation: 98.1% of students graduated in 2024–2025, far above Indiana's 89.7% and second only to Northwestern (100%) among nearby comprehensive high schools — ahead of Oak Hill High School (97.8%), Maconaquah High School (96.0%), and Kokomo High School (96.2%).
