Oak Hill United School Corp is a five-school Indiana district serving about 1,533 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, and it ranks 106th of 374 districts statewide with 4 stars. An unusual feature is that each building covers only part of a grade span, feeding students from Converse Elementary School (PK–2) to Sweetser Elementary School (3–4), Swayzee Elementary School (5–6), Oak Hill Junior High School (7–8), and Oak Hill High School (9–12), so fair comparisons between schools have to be made grade-by-grade and subject-by-subject.

The middle grades are the district's strength. Oak Hill Junior High School ranked at the 79th, 82nd, and 80th percentile in three consecutive years, with 8th grade math at 55.83% against a state figure of 34.2% and 8th grade ELA at 58.33% against 44.0%. Swayzee Elementary School posted the largest gap in this data set — 5th grade social studies at 75.93% versus 47.2% statewide — and also beat the state in 5th and 6th grade math and 6th grade science. Sweetser Elementary School is the clearest improver, climbing from the 51st to the 55th to the 61st percentile with gains in ELA, math, and science. Oak Hill High School graduates 97.8% of students versus 89.7% statewide, but SAT math of 16% against the state's 25.6% is the district's biggest persistent shortfall, and its rank has slipped to the mid-50s percentile. Converse Elementary School, a PK–2 building, has no state test results to compare.

Attendance is strong everywhere: every school's chronic absenteeism rate is below Indiana's 16.7%, and the district rate is 7.9%. The higher-poverty middle schools are also the top performers, and per-student spending across the five buildings does not line up neatly with results. Parents should know that Swayzee's only ranking in this data is from 2018–19, so it is dated, and the spending figures come from a different year than the test scores.
