Southwest Parke Com School Corp serves about 1,002 students across three schools in western Indiana: two PK–6 elementary schools, Rosedale Elementary School (318 students) and Montezuma Elementary School (213 students), plus one 7–12 building, Riverton Parke Junior-Senior High School (471 students). There are no standalone middle schools and no alternative schools. The district ranks 246th of 374 Indiana districts — the 34th percentile — with a 2-star rating.

Each school has a distinctly different profile. Rosedale is the strongest of the three academically: math proficiency is 46.78% and science 35.29%, both above the district, and chronic absenteeism is just 3.7% compared with the district's 9.6% and the state's 16.7%.
