North Newton School Corp is a small rural Indiana district serving about 1,004 students across four schools — three K–6 elementary schools (Lincoln Elementary School, Lake Village Elementary School, and Morocco Elementary School) and one grades 7–12 building, North Newton Junior-Senior High School, which alone enrolls 486 students, roughly half the district.

Morocco Elementary is the district's strongest current performer: it posts the top elementary ILEARN results (ELA 40.63%, Math 45.31%, Science 42.86%), the lowest chronic absenteeism at 10.3% versus the district's 18.5% and the state's 16.7%, the highest per-pupil spending ($15,751), the lowest student-teacher ratio (12.6), and the biggest rank gain, from the 34th to the 49th percentile. The high school is the highest-ranked school at the 61st percentile and 3 stars, with a 96.5% graduation rate and SAT reading above the state (71.43% in 2024-25, 54.69% in 2025-26). Math is the district's clear weak point in grades 7–12: all-grade ILEARN Math is 18.67% versus the district's 30.98%, with 7th-grade Math at 15.58%, 8th-grade Math at 21.92%, and SAT Math at 20.31%, all below state averages. Note that the smallest schools' percentages can swing sharply from year to year, so trends matter more than any single figure.
