Enrollment ranges from 290 students at Mildred Merkley Elementary School to 971 at Highland High School.

Highland Middle School is the academic standout: 93rd of 486 schools (81st percentile, 4 stars, the district's only 4-star rating), with ELA at 54.64% versus the district's 48.18%, and 6th-grade science at 50.62% versus the state's 41.2%. Its math is a relative weakness at 41.43%.
