Danville Community School Corp serves roughly 2,795 students across four schools — two elementary schools (North Elementary School for PK–2 and South Elementary School for grades 2–4), one middle school, and one high school — and it ranks among Indiana's stronger districts at 25th of 374 (93rd percentile) with a 5-star district rating.

The clearest standout is Danville Community High School: ranked 38th of 415 (91st percentile, 5 stars), with a 97.6% graduation rate versus 89.7% statewide, the district's lowest chronic absenteeism at 11.1%, and SAT proficiency of 68.72% in reading/writing and 41.41% in math — both far above state averages. South Elementary School ranked 171st of 1,015 (83rd percentile, 4 stars) and shines in math and science, with all-grade math at 64.73% and science at 64.35%, above district averages, plus 4th-grade math at 68.52% and science at 64.35%. Danville Middle School ranked 76th of 486 (84th percentile, 4 stars), down from 5 stars, with strong 5th- and 6th-grade results but weaker 8th grade (47.98% ELA, 41.92% math).
