Clark-Pleasant Community School Corp serves about 7,179 students across eight schools — six elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school — and the district as a whole is rated 87th of 374 Indiana districts (77th percentile, 4 stars), though that rating applies to the district rather than to any individual building.

At the elementary level, Pleasant Crossing Elementary is the academic pacesetter, posting the district's top all-grades results in both ELA (61.98%) and Math (64.64%) and holding 4 stars in all three years. Break-O-Day Elementary School made the biggest one-year jump in either subject, with ELA rising from 46.78% to 61.74% and Math from 40.52% to 56.06%, moving from 3 stars to 4; its 5th-grade ELA of 72.55% is the highest grade-level ELA result in the district. Grassy Creek Elementary School spends the least per student ($9,435) yet produced the district's highest science result (61.54%) and second-highest ELA — but also has the worst chronic absenteeism (25.0%). Whiteland Elementary School, the smallest school, spends the most ($16,420) and is a steady 4-star performer. Ray Crowe Elementary improved but remains the lowest-scoring school on core subjects and serves the highest free/reduced-lunch population (63.83%).

Clark Pleasant Middle School is the district's most consistent building — 4 stars in all three years, beating the state in every tested grade and subject, and the lowest chronic absenteeism (13.7%). Whiteland Community High School tells a split story: its 95.1% graduation rate is 5.4 points above the state, but its 2025-26 SAT results sit below the state in both ELA (48.1 vs 51.9) and Math (20.44 vs 25.6), with volatile results year to year. District-wide, every elementary improved year over year, yet six of eight schools exceed the state's 16.7% chronic absenteeism rate, and per-student spending shows no clear link to outcomes.
