As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The teachers are great but school administration, not so much. They encourage students to come to school sick and penalize them if they don't. The student wellbeing is not a top priority. Close Quote

Open Quote There are very few teachers that care how well the kids succeed at this school. The school has no resources to help kids that are struggling in their classes, other than the help from the teacher whenever they are available, if they are even willing to help them. The teachers constantly blame the children that don’t understand how to complete the homework or fail a test, by telling them they are not trying. When they clearly don’t understand. Teachers have been mean to children that need extra time to finish a test or come in before or after school for help. When the teachers also state they must not be trying. The teachers say inappropriate things to the children. For example: Complaining about working and not getting time off since they have to make up for snow days. Talking bad about other children in front of students. Making racial comments to the entire class. As to how hard it is to be a specific race.
The majority of the teachers favor the “popular kids” or “rich kids”. Its bad enough to be bullied but the teachers seem to be bullies themselves. I am sad to say I sent my child there. I learned the hard way. No wonder why this school is ranked so low in the state and the nation. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
