As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Absolute CRAP!

The teacher ratio is a LIE.. I have/had 2 children at Fry and both had classes with over 24 kids!!

I too am moving out of Burbank to get away from such a dysfunctional school/school district. As for the school its self, it's nice/clean, and there are a FEW teachers that are worth their education there. As for the rest of the teachers, principle included, I think they got the bottom 10% of educators who graduated with a degree.

Hopefully your child is perfect and doesn't need any other services. My 1st grader needs speech therapy (as prescribed by his DOCTOR) to which the school replied "he can't be out of class". I guess they think they are both educators and DOCTORS at that school!

EPIC FAIL Close Quote

Open Quote This school is a joke. Frequently receive misspelled assignments from teachers and the principle happens to be friends with the superintendent, so all the complaints against her are cast aside. She runs the school like a prison warden and should be severely reprimanded for her many violations of standards and practices. There are a few good teachers, but the vast majority are likely under qualified garbage. I would rate it zero stars if I could. There are many families whom have moved or are moving to avoid sending their children back this year. Myself included. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
