Summary

Proviso East High School serves 1,663 students in grades 9–12 in Maywood, within Proviso Township HSD 209. In 2025–2026, it ranked in the 4th percentile statewide, according to SchoolDigger, and its test proficiency was below the state and district in every reported subject and grade. Most notably, Proviso East had the lowest results among the five nearby schools in all nine supplied ACT and PreACT Secure comparisons.
