Shipman Elementary School serves 155 students in grades 3–4 in Shipman, Illinois, as part of Southwestern CUSD 9. Its clearest strength is English Language Arts (ELA): in 2025–26, 74% of students were proficient, compared with 56% statewide and 69% districtwide.

Shipman compares especially well with nearby schools in ELA: its 74% proficiency was higher than every nearby school reporting scores, including Parkside Primary School at 53% and Ben-Gil Elementary School at 55%.
