Open Quote Excellent academics, approachable, responsible and responsive administration, teachers and staff. My kids are thriving and excelling in school. They are happy and they are treated like family. Everything I would expect from a great elementary school - fun field trips, in-depth projects for learning, writing workshops, extra help for students who need it, great technology resources, a safe place to learn and lots of extracurricular activities choices available. Wonderful families who support the school community in many different ways - via fundraising, garden team, library volunteering, classroom volunteering, teacher support...lots of opportunity to be involved and get to know the school and staff. This school is a GEM and my kids are getting a GREAT education. Close Quote

Open Quote We have loved our experience at National Teachers Academy. We have watch our child thrive at school - and love learning. He is challenged, has fun and enjoys going to school. We feel that the school is safe, well balanced, offers a great setting. We know the principal and feel he is really receptive to families and always puts the children's best interest first. The facility compares to any private schools and is one of the best in Chicago - we have swimming, gym, music, art, a out door track, library, auditorium for performances and great playground. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.

About Immunization Rates:
Each year, public and private schools across the state are required to send data about their students’ vaccination status to the Illinois State Board of Education. The state Board of Education compiles the data and shares them with the Illinois Department of Public Health. Public health officials use the data to monitor trends, track compliance with state immunization laws and identify pockets of vulnerability should an outbreak occur.
