Open Quote I'm shocked that SchoolDigger rates this gem of a school so inaccurately. I pulled my son out of one of the "best" public schools in the state and put him in Boone.... and it was the best decision we ever made. That other school may have higher test scores but the lack of creativity, the indifference of the teaching staff, the anxiety of the kids... not worth it! Boone, on the other hand, has been a welcoming community of kids and parents who are focused on cultivating the whole person, not just the part that takes standardized tests. Kids at Boone are happy, challenged, and cared for. I will be taking SchoolDigger's ratings with a LOT of skepticism from now on. By the way, in addition to being a parent, I'm an Education professor, preparing future teachers, and I hope my students will become as skilled, thoughtful, and dedicated as Boone's teachers.
