Briargate Elementary School in Cary, Illinois, serves 400 students in grades 1–5 and is one of several elementary schools in its nearby comparison group. In 2025–2026, its all-grades results were above state proficiency levels in both English Language Arts (ELA) and math. The most important finding for families is that strong overall math results hide a clear fifth-grade weakness: fifth-grade math proficiency was 38%, below both the district and Briargate’s fourth-grade result.
