Open Quote Once your student gets pigeon-holed into a scholastic category such as poor at math they will stay that way no matter your request for a re-evaluation from the school. Our son has been ranked above the 50 in District math in 14 out of 15 of the last map scores. Yet, because he scored lower than 50 at a certain time, he was placed in the lowest math class and has not really been challenged since. We have requested for him to be moved into a harder class but they have done nothing to put him in the most appropriate class. Close Quote

Open Quote This school did well for my first two children but has failed to help my third. We petitioned multiple times to have our son moved to a more difficult math class as he was bored in his current position. Although the teachers\admin claim to listen and smile along, our requests fell on deaf ears. Subsequently we have a very bored student who could do so much more if the school would simply challenge him. But in this school, once you are pigeonholed so you will remain. Close Quote
